Extruded pellets with high mechanical strength and low pressure drop, built for gas phase and air filtration.
Air moving through a carbon bed pays for every bit of resistance in fan energy. Pellets are uniform cylinders, so they pack with even gaps and let gas through with a low pressure drop. They are also strong enough to resist crushing and dusting in a deep bed, which keeps the bed stable over its service life.
Larger diameters such as 6 mm and 8 mm give the lowest resistance and suit big air volumes. Smaller 3 mm and 4 mm pellets offer more contact for the same bed volume where the fan can handle the extra resistance. Tell us the air flow, the bed depth and the compounds you are controlling, and we will suggest a size.
3 mm, 4 mm, 6 mm and 8 mm diameter.
Air filtration, gas purification, VOC removal and emission control.
Pellets are uniform, so a pellet bed usually has a lower pressure drop and less dust, which matters most when moving large volumes of air or gas.
